Hello lovelies! A couple weeks ago, The Polish Bar maker, Janice, sent me a package with a bit of everything by The Polish Bar to show you! It took me a while to swatch them all but here they are! The Polish Bar is featured on my Indie Guide Project and you can see the Janice interview here.

Top coat glitter, clear base filled with small green glitter and large round multicolored glitter. 1 to 2 coats. 





- Soiree
Red Holographic Gelly. Gorgeous red gelly holographic polish. 3 -4 coats alone, 1 when layered over red. 5 mins drying time.






- Chocolat
Black Holographic Gelly - Stunning gelly black based holographic polish. 3 thin coats alone or 1 when layered over black. 5 mins drying time. 








Fall 2013 Collection

- Far Far away
Medium Purple Holographic Gelly - Gelly Medium purple with holographic finish. 3 coats for full opacity. french tip of nailart - see contrast with Cosmic Glow. 5 mins drying time.





- Cosmic Glow
Light lavander holographic gelly - Top shade of nailart. Light violet, lavender shade with gelly holographic finish. 4 thin coats for full opacity. 6mins drying time. 





- Sugar Kisses
White based glitter. White base color filled with light purple, light purple, nude and mint multisized and shaped small glitters. 3 coats for full opacity or 1 when layered over white. 5 mins drying time. 







Holo Gellies Collection
Cosmic Blue
Blue Gelly holographic polish - Cobalta blue is with 3 coats in the pictures. The formula applies very well and drying time is quite fast, around 5 mins.
A aplicação é muito simples, sendo necessárias 3 camadas para o efeito abaixo. Cerca de 5 mins de tempo de secagem.

Hello lovelies! This is the first valentine's day nailart of 2014! I'm preparing a few more!

This one is so far one of my favorites! The base color is Cliché 'Faz de Conta' (review here) and it was stamped with O.P.I. Visions of Love and my very favorite plate from MoYou - Pro 07! I can't even tell you how many times I have used it already!

Cucu princesas! Esta vai ser a primeira mani de S.Valentim deste ano e sem dúvida uma das minhas preferidas, ever! A cor base é o sand cliché 'Faz de Conta' que já mostrei aqui. O verniz que usei para carimbar foi o O.P.I. Visions of Love que carimba explendidamente. A Placa usada foi a minha preferida da MoYou-London, a Pro-07. Já nem consigo contar as vezes que já a usei!

Hello lovelies! V-day is coming and the bloggosphere is already flodded with Vday Nails! I've seen so many great ideas!
This one is my 2nd for this year and was done with Purple Professional nail polishes from the Vintage Love Collection.



Cucu! O dia de S.Valentim está quase a chegar e a blogosfera esta já cheia de lindíssimas manicures alusivas ao dia! Já vi coisas fantásticas!
Hoje trago-vos a minha 2ª sugestão para o dia, com 2 cores Purple Professional, da colecção Vintage Love.

For this nailart I used Purple Professional Burning Passion and Purple Professional Its Still Love for the base colors and stamped with Cheeky CH 44. Several nailart polishes from MASH Stamping set and Konad. Top Coat - Purple 2 Dry.

Para esta manicure usei dois Purple Professional da colecção Vintage Love como cores base (podem ver a review completa da colecção aqui). Usei o 89 It's Still Love e o 90 Burning Passion. Para carimbar usei a placa Cheeky CH44 e vários tons de rosa e vermelho da MASH + branco Konad.  O top coat usado foi o Purple 2 Dry.

Hello ladies! Valentine's day manicures are going to go on for a while! Have you started looking for some presents? Today I have an in love version of the Mollon Dangerous Liasons (Review here). I stamped it with Cheeky 53 and Konad White Stamping Polish!


Cucu! O clima e as unhas de são valentim vão continuar por uns dias! Já começaram a procurar prendas ou vão esperar para ser mais próximo da data? 
Hoe trago-vos uma manicure de S. Valentim com a Mollon. O verniz usado foi o Mollon Dangerous Liasons (Swatch  aqui). A nailat foi feita com a placa Cheeky CH53 e o verniz de carimbo Konad, em branco.

Hello lovelies! How are you? Getting tired of V-day nails already? eheheh I have a couple more for you !
Today I'll be showing you a free hand nailart with Purple Professional polishes  to combine with this gorgeous craft heart my mum has done. Check it out after the jump.

Desta vez vou-vos mostrar uma mani com vernizes Purple Professional que fiz para combinar com uma almofadinha de craft que a minha mãe fez. Cusquem depois da quebra para ver como ficou!

I truly intended to make a how to/step-by-step but I got carried away and after this picture there are only the final shots! So...

I used O.P.I. Nail Envy as a base coat, Purple Professional 2 and 32  for base color and 59 and 81 for the designs. 

As a top coat I used Purple Super Dry.


Pela primeira foto parece que eu vou fazer um passo-a-passo.. e ia... JURO! Mas depois da foto abaixo, deixei-me levar pela coisa e esqueci-me de fazer mais fotos até ao resultado final.
Como base usei a Nail Envy da OPI e vernizes Purple Professional. As cores base que usei foram o 2 e o 32 e para nailart os nrs 59 e 81.

Hello lovelies! Today I bring you # Blogging tips. 
I've been thinking about doing this for a while now and I've mentioned a lot of this networks before. So if you ask me how to promote your blog this is what I would tell you. Join this networks. This are my favorite social networks and why I love to share my posts there. I hope this post helps you and if you have any doubts just ask. Lets see how to make a blog grow its pageviews, shall we?

Hello pessoal! Hoje trago-vos mais uma edição das blogging tips.
Já há algum tempo que ando a pensar escrever este post sobre as redes sociais que mais uso para partilhar os meus posts. Existem (muitas) mais mas estas são as que são mais eficientes para mim e as que geram mais views. No entanto, não deixem de ter em conta que o que resulta para mim pode não resultar do mesmo modo com o vosso blog. De qualquer modo aqui ficam as minhas. Qualquer dúvida basta perguntar. 




#1 - Facebook


The obvious one, of course. The Facebook Fan Page. I have had mine for what? 2 years now? Keeps being my 1st source of pageviews after direct Google search. You can manage your page as you please at let your fans know about your news and recent blog posts. By now you can have Rafflecopter app ( the thing that helps you out with giveaways) and the feed from Instagram integrated. 




#2 -Twitter
Well twitter is a good source of pageviews IF you can twit interesting things. If you just twit the blog post title sure you'll have a couple of views but if you twit something interesting and curious like ( Wanna know what I've done with 3 pink polishes?) it's more likely that more curious people will open the link to your blog. Get it?
You can also have your Twitter on an Twitter App by Twitter Mobile, allowing you to post a twit whenever, wherever.




#3- Pinterest
Pinterest app is so much for. You can pin anything you want and if you are in just a couple of colective boards peope start to notice you and slowly you increase your blog views. Just keep your boards organized by specific terms. Everytime you make a blog post, just pin your images into the right pinterest boards.
For us , nail polish bloggers, the best ones might be Favorite Nails, Blue Nails, Nailart.. bla bla bla or by brand, MoYou-London Nails, O.P.I Nails.. etc.. you get the point! 



#4- Instagram
The first question  you may ask is "How to Get Followers on Instagram?" well.. just post pictures with hashtags that matter in your blogue niche. Find out your blog niche, or your small favorite thing to blog about and focus on that! With every picture you take don't forget to hashtag it with both specific keywords and more general keywords.



For example when posting a picture of your latest nailar, hashtag it with things like:

specific :

  • #color
  •  #brand
  • #nail art type
  • #theme

Generalist:

  •  #nailart
  •  #stamping
  •  #naistagram 
  • #nails 
  • #nailpolish
  •  #gel
  •  #nailsofinstagram 
  • #macro 
  • #nailartideas
  • uñhas
  • smalto
  • ... you get it right?




#5 - Sverve


This one is very very useful. I don't think it generates that much of pageviews itself but it tells me things like  how to increase my views,  how to earn money blogging,  how to make the blog pr friendly, how to prepare the blog for festivities.. things that are extremely HELPful for bloggers. This is a blogger community made by bloggers from all niches and its purpose is to help bloggers. You can see my Profile here. Every time you post your sverve post can be liked, shared or favorited. People can follow you and endorse you on one of your 5 categories that you chose when you set up an account ( see here how to set up a sverve account). The more endorsements you have, the higher your sverve score will be. With higher sverve scores you can apply for sponsored posts.
You can also connect your Google account, facebook profile and twitter account to increase sverve score.
